Abstract

The reliability and sharing of information amongst operations managers within a multi-branch commercial enterprise is of great importance. A number of challenges to ensuring this sharing include: the availability of information at head office, the analysis and consolidation of data, information security, …

In this article, we propose to identify potential solutions that can help the company overcome these challenges. To resolve this issue, we have designed an IT model tailored to multi-branch retail businesses, comprising algorithms and UML diagrams (use-case diagrams and class diagrams). This has resulted in effective control, ease of data consolidation and improved, timely decision-making.
